He's Back!!!

I had to update our blog and tell everyone how proud I am of Brady. Most of you know how important racing is to him, but recently he has taken some time off. We had our little Fred come so early and moved to the house in Redmond, life has been busy. But last Saturday he got to go racing again:) We went over on Saturday to Fillmore where he signed up Pro. It was just Brady and I and the kids to start the day off. He practiced well but I was so nervous. I had forgotten how intense racing can be.

After practice we watched the others and waited for his turn. He pulled the hole shot, which is something he has always been good at. He ended up third in the first motto. Then, we waited all day for the second motto. It was hot but super fun. There were some other racers there from Salina area and we had a ton of fun cheering them on. Everyone did great:)

My mom and Valma came to support and help with the kids so that I could help Brady and watch him (thanks so much!) He got all ready for his second motto and we were so excited. He pulled the hole shot again and took off. He did awesome. He took first place in the second motto on his all stock Suzuki. What a race! He raced like he had never taken time off.

We were all so proud of him:) Good job Brady! We love you:)

That was the most awesome race I have ever seen! Those other quads were barreling down on Brady but he never gave an inch. I loved how as he passed us he would give us a nod, like "I'm going to win this!" and he did. I screamed so loud. He was so thrilled and it was a great day.

Krista, your boys are so cute and they look super happy. I'm going to be in Salina in a few weeks for Jantzen's graduation. Email me or call me if you have an afternoon free- I'd love to see you! lacymckinlay@comcast.net

Well done, Brady. I feel bad we couldn't go. It sounded like a blast.
