Little Fred is two!!

I cannot believe it was two years ago that we had our little Fred. I was so scared that day and for the next several as well. He was a fighter from the beginning. He had things to do and places to be. I have to say also, he is definately Fred. Mom and I still call him Dax some but he is our little Freddy Bear. He for sure acts like big Fred:)

Dylan adores him. I am so grateful that they have one another. They are the best of friends and so good to one another. I was worried because of their age difference, but it really has not ever been an issue.

Today on his birthday he is doing great! He is so much fun, laughs at everything, loves everyone, and cracks us up regularly. He loves to yell at Cass and Oreo, our dogs. He thinks he can boss them around, it's pretty cute. He loves his Dad, it's so sweet to watch them play:) If Dad is doing something Fred loves to be right in the thick of things. I know Brady thinks he is a GREAT helper:) He LOVES Nemo. It is his favorite. He is not a big TV watcher but he will watch Nemo over and over and over again. (Perhaps he has Dory's syndrome:)) I love to hear him shout at MEEMO:)) He is such a special boy and we love him dearly.

I will try to put updated pictures on later....I am not good at keeping up with my blog. Life is just so busy, but we will do better!

Gooseberry

Well third grade for Dylan brought about the highly anticipated GOOSEBERRY!! I took Dylan, we went, we got soaked, we DIDN't sleep, and we came home! It really was lots of fun, even if it rained a whole lot. I was so happy to be able to spend some fun time with just Dylan. He is so much fun and such a good boy.

Brady came up for dinner and we ate (after running through the soaking rain to the cabin:)) then watched the kids dance, and then Annie Bangs!

I kind of thought that Dylan would be frightened but he wasn't, at all. He took off with the group of kids following Mr. C and enjoyed the whole scary thing.

Here are a few pics (only a few because the rest of the time we were 'swimming!'

Happy Birthday Dylan!!

Dylan is eight years old today. As you can see from the pictures his birthday lasted all weekend. We had tons of fun.

I am so proud of Dylan. He is such a good boy and so so much fun. He is helpful around the house and especially with his little brother Fred whom he loves very very much. Dylan loves to read and play with his friends. He is caring and compassionate. He loves spending time with family, especially his Dad.

He wants to be a racer just like Dad. This scares me to death...we will see how that goes. I am nervous to let him get started but I know Brady will take every precaution.

I cannot believe he is eight! My how time flies. He is a wonderful little boy and we are lucky he is part of our little family.

Love you Dylan:)

This is what we woke up to this morning. I could hear a strange noise, we peeked out the back window and there was a hot air balloon. I ran upstairs and woke Dylan up and he and I ran outside. Apparently they were just landing for a quick break but Dylan thought it was awesome. How fun:)

I had to post this picture of Gavin. He is just like his mother...loves the camera. What a cutie:)

Happy Birthday Dylan!!! Dylan is eight years old! His birthday is Sunday, June, 21. But, we had his party at the pool on Saturday. It was freezing!! The kids however, did not seem to mind. Them swam until we made get out. It was so much fun!
Dylan had his first jump off the high dive, he was nervous but did great.

For Dylan's Birthday gift Kurt and Tara invited us to the Freestyle show in Manti on Saturday. It was so fun! Kurt is good friends with Shaun Nielson who was riding there and so we were able to talk to the riders and Dylan thought that was great. We all had so much fun. These guys are so talented. It's crazy to watch what they can do.

Dylan wore his jersey and had all the riders sign it. He also got a poster. I think one of his favorite things though was having the riders go past after a run and give him 'five.'

Thank you Kurt and Tara! It was awesome:)

Brady and Dylan, watching the four wheelers at the Freestyle Event this weekend in Manti. Kurt tried to get out of the photo, no such luck!

He's Back!!!

I had to update our blog and tell everyone how proud I am of Brady. Most of you know how important racing is to him, but recently he has taken some time off. We had our little Fred come so early and moved to the house in Redmond, life has been busy. But last Saturday he got to go racing again:) We went over on Saturday to Fillmore where he signed up Pro. It was just Brady and I and the kids to start the day off. He practiced well but I was so nervous. I had forgotten how intense racing can be.

After practice we watched the others and waited for his turn. He pulled the hole shot, which is something he has always been good at. He ended up third in the first motto. Then, we waited all day for the second motto. It was hot but super fun. There were some other racers there from Salina area and we had a ton of fun cheering them on. Everyone did great:)

My mom and Valma came to support and help with the kids so that I could help Brady and watch him (thanks so much!) He got all ready for his second motto and we were so excited. He pulled the hole shot again and took off. He did awesome. He took first place in the second motto on his all stock Suzuki. What a race! He raced like he had never taken time off.

We were all so proud of him:) Good job Brady! We love you:)

Happy Easter!

Well....we are getting a puppy:) Those of you who know Dylan know how much he misses Daisy. So, for Easter he and Dax got a new puppy. The puppy was born on Saturday so we won't be able to bring her home for about six weeks but Dylan is very excited!

Ok ok, so I fell off the edge of the blogging world for a bit! But, we're back. Life has been so so so so sooooo busy.

Dylan as you can see, is growing up fast. He is losing teeth left and right. He is enjoying second grade but is excited for summer to hurry up and get here. He has started soccer and really enjoys it.

Fred Dax is growing up too, so much. He is getting all of his teeth (long nights and lots of biting!) He is starting to say several words which is just so cute. He has had several ear infections, I feel like the kid is always sick! Hopefully this will pass.
